Overview
A rapidly growing, multi-site provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services is conducting a highly confidential search for a Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of expansion and operational excellence. This organization is a recognized leader in delivering high-quality care to individuals with autism and related disorders and is backed by strong financial and strategic resources.

The CEO will partner closely with the Board and executive leadership team to drive scalable growth, optimize clinical and operational performance, and strengthen the company’s market position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision to support continued growth and geographic expansion
• Oversee all aspects of operations, including clinical services, compliance, finance, and business development
• Drive performance across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in quality of care and operational efficiency
• Partner with clinical leadership to maintain best-in-class ABA service delivery and outcomes
• Lead M&A initiatives, including sourcing, diligence, and integration of new acquisitions
• Build and develop a high-performing executive team and organizational culture
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements within the healthcare landscape
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and community leaders

Qualifications

• 10 years of executive leadership experience, preferably within healthcare services
• Prior experience as a CEO, President, or senior executive in a multi-site healthcare organization strongly preferred
• Background in consulting (e.g., management consulting, healthcare strategy) highly desirable
• Proven track record of scaling organizations, driving revenue growth, and improving EBITDA
• Experience with private equity-backed environments is a plus
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic acumen
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models; ABA or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required
• Data-driven decision maker with a hands-on leadership style
• Demonstrated success in leading through growth, change, and complexity
• High level of discretion and professionalism given the confidential nature of the search

This is a fully onsite leadership role based in Montclair, NJ. Relocation support may be available for the right candidate.
