POSITION PURPOSE:
The Clinical Assistant is under the supervision of the Practice Manager and is responsible for working with the team to ensure administrative and clinical needs are met. The Clinical Assistant will greet clients and guests, answer the phone line, and send company correspondence, assuring confidentiality at all times. The Clinical Assistant will also offer clinical support to our TMS and Spravato programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of experience in similar position or function.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required to be certified in TMS administration within 6 months of employment. Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

Working knowledge of healthcare practices, preferred experience with mental and substance use disorder or dual diagnosis patients.

Must have ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner.

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Adhere to Confidentiality requirements as outlined in 42 CFR, Part 2.

Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities.

Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline of account billing and collections.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION:
- Greets guests and clients to the facility in a kind and courteous manner at all times.
- Answers main phone line and transfers calls to the appropriate party and/or takes messages.
- Assist with scheduling client intakes and appointments as needed.
- Processes incoming mail and sends outgoing correspondence as needed.
- Maintains records and documentation for the company.
- Enters data into the computer system, ensuring accuracy.
- Participates in Management Team Meetings as needed.
- Supervises front office area, ensuring area is hazard-free and kept orderly.
- Checks office supply stock weekly and submits orders for any supply items running low.
- Oversees administrative functioning of the facility in an organized and professional manner.
- Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Contacts property management for any maintenance related issues.
- Ensures patient confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2.
- Be trained in TMS administration and assist TMS coordinator with treatments.
- Provide support in Spravato program with scheduling, set up and observation.
- Coordinates with contracted agencies to develop patients schedule and collaborates with the team to remedy any logistical complications that may arise.
- Protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with Bishop Health, LLCs privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a health care provider. Failure to comply with Bishop Health, LLCs policies and procedures on patient privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
- May access protected health information (PHI) and other patent information only to the extent that is necessary to complete your job duties. The incumbent may only share such information with those who have a need-to-know specific patient information you have in your possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other Bishop Health, LLC operations.
- Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Bishop Health, LLCs policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.

Salary : $40,000 - $65,000
