Guardian Litigation Group, a national Consumer Protection law firm, is seeking a detail orientated Legal Assistant in order to support our in-house attorneys and clients by providing notarization services. This role works closely with legal professionals and clients to ensure documents are properly prepared, executed, and notarized in a timely and compliant manner. The ideal candidate is organized, tech savvy, and interested in growing within the legal services field, and in notary work.

What you’ll do
- Work directly with in-house attorneys to support legal and administrative needs
- Coordinate with clients to facilitate online notarizations
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents for notarization
- Conduct or assist with remote online notarizations in compliance with applicable laws and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal teams
- Assist with general legal administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Texas based and currently residing in that state
- Prior experience in a legal, administrative, or client-facing role is a plus
- Notary Public certification preferred (or eligibility to obtain one)
- We are willing to assist qualified candidates with the notary certification process if needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using online platforms, video conferencing tools, and document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
