Responsibility
- Must be able to demonstrate customer service and organizational skills.
- Excellent listening and verbal communication, telephone, and networking skills with clients.
- Attention to details, and time management and multi-tasking.
- Communicate with all Managers and Dispatchers
- Create and maintain driver’s schedule and hours.
- Plan and hold Safety meetings, train, and promote Safety.
- Responsible for Blanket/Trip Permits
- Counsel and document work performance.
- Maintain all trucks up to high standards.
- Responsible for coordination of truck repairs, maintenance and registrations
- Maintaining yard, vehicles wrapped and inspected.
- Maintain invoices for accuracy on rates and time.
- Maintain daily records and driver schedules
- Take calls and dispatch transportation as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with both drivers and clients.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment coordination as if pertains to Industrial, Landoll, Lowboy and Flatbed trucks/trailers is a must
- Familiar with area demographics in the Tampa, St Pete, Sarasota and Spring Hill
- In-depth knowledge of the towing industry-standard methods, costs, and best practices.
- Experience in a leadership role
- Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to communicate calmly and effectively.
- Basic technology skills. Ability to use GPS, company-issued software, mobile device.
- Positively motivate a team of drivers.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Transportation driver with CDL Class A
- Ability to train.
- Administration experience
