Description
This position ensures that all offices and facilities are kept in good repair and functioning properly by performing periodic inspections and basic upkeep/repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment. Also performs courier responsibility between branches and locations. To pick up and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail and officer materials.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Knowledge and Skills
Up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in similar or preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A high school degree or GED is required.
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly require shorter discussions.
Other Skills
Valid Class C drivers license and acceptable driving record. Working knowledge of power, hand tools and equipment Ability to complete work orders

Work requires moderate physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

- Completes work orders, inventory control documents, weekly reports and preventive maintenance documents.
- Coordinates, tracks, and completes help desk tickets assigned to the Facilities Team and coordinates with maintenance contractors and vendors when needed.
- Assist facilities manager with daily responsibilities.
- Performs courier duties.
- Performs basic repairs, handyman work and miscellaneous jobs as needed.
- Monitor, purchase and stock supplies for the credit union.
