Senior Inside Sales Manager Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)

Position Overview

Guardian Construction Management Services, Inc. is seeking a versatile and commercial-minded Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings Sales & Procurement Manager to join our team on-site in Murrysville/Export, PA. In this dual-impact role, you will lead front-end inside sales development and manage material procurement for our Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and structural steel projects. You will bridge pre-construction estimating, 3D modeling, proposal generation, and jobsite material delivery to support timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Sales, Estimating & Design

• Manage Inside Sales & Bid Packages: Prepare comprehensive proposals, quotations, and competitive bid packages for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• 3D Modeling & Building Configuration: Configure and model building structures, steel framing, wall/roof panels, secondary framing, and bracing using 3D modeling and structural design software.
• Client & Pre-Construction Consultation: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing design questions from initial concept through proposal delivery.
• Drawing Review: Interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, and project specifications to define exact project requirements.

Procurement & Logistics

• Order Execution: Prepare, verify, and place complete building and material order packages.
• Delivery Coordination: Schedule and sequence freight deliveries to align material arrivals with on-site construction schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: Experience in estimating, inside sales, procurement, or detailing within pre-engineered metal buildings, structural steel, or commercial/industrial construction.
• Software & Technical Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading and hands-on experience with 3D modeling software or structural design tools.
• Commercial & Business Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, bids, and deadlines concurrently.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical industry experience will also be fully considered.

Note: All candidates must be able to work full-time on-site in Murrysville/Export, PA.
