Pre-Engineered Systems Technician

Job Summary: The Pre-Engineered Systems Technician is responsible for inspecting pre-engineered systems and performing minor repairs on pre-engineered systems.

• Work directly with the pre-engineered division on inspections and repairs. 
• Coordinate service work schedules with various departments.
• Inspect all pre-engineered systems (hoods, vehicle systems, paint booths, etc.).
• Resolve any issues/problems in the field regarding pre-engineered systems.
• Survey repairs and facilitate work to be completed with service sales.
• Review deficiencies and provide estimate of labor and material to service sales.
• Work with the inspection department.
• When needed, perform annual inspections of fire extinguishers and e-lights, when it is needed the same day as the pre-engineered system inspection.

Job Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of all types of pre-engineered systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good relationships with customers.
• Ability to manage field personnel.
• Ability to work with office personnel.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft office.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

• Work offsite at customer facilities – clean/unclean conditions, hot/cold conditions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Work may include climbing ladders
• At certain jobsites, safety shoes, hard hats, and safety apparel may be required.
