Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Location: Seymour, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm. Some overtime
Salary: $70K-$80K
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role leads production teams, manages workflow across departments, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support company production goals. The Manufacturing Manager works closely with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and leadership to ensure products are produced on time and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals are met.

Lead and support supervisors, team leads, and production employees.

Monitor production performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Coordinate with quality teams to ensure products meet all required standards.

Work closely with maintenance to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Manage staffing levels and labor planning to support production schedules.

Train, coach, and develop supervisors and team members.

Monitor inventory, materials, and workflow to ensure smooth production processes.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Maintain clear communication between production teams and upper management.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

5 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.

Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
