Job Description: Maintenance Technician
Location: Seymour, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time (onsite)
Shift: 6am-6pm, Weekend Shift. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Pay: $28.75-$30.75
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure seamless production operations. This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, as well as the ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist with facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
