Job SummaryWe are a rapidly rising hazardous waste removal company seeking a reliable, experienced Field Inspector to serve as our primary technician for asbestos and mold sampling. You will drive to daily job sites during our standard 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shift to conduct inspections, collect samples, and document property conditions. While you will work within a set shift, you will have the flexibility to help shape and optimize your daily route while collaborating with a supportive operations team.Key Responsibilities
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule the property visit appointments directly with homeowners, renters, or property managers to build your daily route.
- Field Testing: Drive to daily locations to collect asbestos and mold samples safely and efficiently.
- Lab & Chain of Custody: Drop off collected samples to the laboratory for analytics and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Site Documentation: Use company technology to scan rooms and capture detailed, high-quality photos so estimators can accurately scope remediation work.
- Client Coordination: Interact politely, professionally, and clearly with property owners and managers during site visits.
- Operations Reporting: Communicate clearly and consistently with the operations team to streamline data and report findings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required Certifications: Active Asbestos Inspector licenses in both Massachusetts (MA) and Rhode Island (RI). Certified Mold Inspector credentials. OSHA, Project Monitor License.
- Bonus Certifications: Lead Inspector licenses, as well as active asbestos licenses in New Hampshire (NH) and Connecticut (CT), are a major plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in hazardous material inspection, mold assessments, or environmental sampling.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; professional, polite, and clear speaking skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile applications and scanning technology for site documentation.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a strong team-player mindset.
