The Opportunity

Guard Dog Security is seeking a high-impact commercial leader to build and scale the company’s go-to-market engine across retail, e-commerce, and emerging channels.

You will work directly with the CEO and play a critical role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.

 

What You’ll Own

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute the company’s overarching commercial strategy across retail, e-commerce, and distributor channels
  • Identify and prioritize revenue opportunities across product categories, pricing, and channel expansion
  • Build forecasting models and revenue plans to support scalable growth

 

Retail & B2B Sales Enablement

  • Create scalable line review strategies and retailer pitch frameworks
  • Improve sell-in velocity and sell-through performance across key accounts
  • Establish distributor governance and channel segmentation strategies
  • Partner with the sales team to reduce reliance on manual processes and improve efficiency

 

Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Own demand generation strategy across digital, influencer, retail, and lifecycle marketing
  • Establish CAC targets, ROI frameworks, and performance tracking systems
  • Build and manage internal and offshore marketing execution teams
  • Develop repeatable campaign playbooks for product launches and seasonal initiatives

 

Product Launch & Innovation Alignment

  • Partner with product development to prioritize SKU pipeline based on demand, margin, and competitive positioning
  • Build structured product launch frameworks from concept to market
  • Define positioning, pricing strategy, packaging narratives, and launch timing
  • Ensure continuous feedback loop between market performance and product development

 

Data, Analytics & Performance Management

  • Establish KPIs across marketing, sales, and product performance
  • Drive data-informed decision-making across the organization
  • Improve revenue per SKU, inventory productivity, and margin performance
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems for leadership visibility

 

Leadership & Organizational Impact

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team over time
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO
  • Bring structure, discipline, and scalability to a fast-growing organization

 

Who You Are

  • 10 years experience in consumer products, e-commerce, retail, or high-growth DTC brands
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue across both retail (B2B) and e-commerce (DTC) channels
  • Experience launching multiple products and managing full go-to-market strategy
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen (comfortable with margins, CAC, forecasting, etc.)
  • Experience managing marketing channels including influencer, performance, and lifecycle
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and accountability
