What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility/Shop worker position at Guaranteed Electric Service Inc.?
Guaranteed Electric Service Inc., headquartered in Mankato, MN has established itself as one of Minnesota’s premier Electrical Contractors. Catering primarily to small and medium sized businesses located within the 4 state Region, our mission is to provide “On-Time” service and build lasting relationships with our customers by offering a full suite of services. We deliver on our mission by hiring talented, service driven teams of people who have a passion for what they do. We are currently hiring for a utility/shop/maintenance worker. This position is 35-40 hr/wk.
Basic job duties include:
- Keeping shops tidy and clean
- Organizing and putting away shop stock
- Delivering material to electricians on job sites
- Job site clean-up
- Stocking trucks with material
- Changing oil and detailing of commercial fleet of vehicles
- Mowing and trimming lawn
Candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Good time management and self-motivated
- Hard working and meet deadlines
- Learn quickly and follow directions while keeping a positive attitude
- Be interested and willing to learn electrical and low volt trades
*Must have a class B with air break endorsement or obtain within 3 months of start-date
*All candidates must be able to pass a background check, random drug testing and DOT physical
