Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors using techniques such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain a polished appearance.
• Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners with precision and safety.
• Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for mixing, application, and disposal of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning solutions.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities.
• Maintain high standards of janitorial and custodial services by cleaning restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas regularly.
• Apply floor care techniques such as floor waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore surfaces and extend their lifespan.
• Ensure environmental safety by adhering to proper handling procedures for all cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and addressing any concerns professionally.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and floor refinishing.
• Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and carpet extractors.
• Knowledge of chemical agents used in floor care and general cleaning procedures with an emphasis on safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely.
• Strong understanding of environmental services standards related to chemical handling and waste disposal.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

• We clean residential and commercial accounts in Sheboygan, Ozaukee, and Washington counties. Are you willing to travel to All these counties?
• I am looking for someone that can clean Grafton, Port Washington, Belgium, Cedar Grove, and Oostburg every week. If needed can you travel to Sheboygan, Plymouth, Cascade, and Batavia. Can you travel to all these locations with your personal vehicle? I will pay mileage!
