Scope of Responsibility

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is also responsible for pre-procedure assessments, care of sedated patients and intra-op and post-procedure. Responsible for specimen collection and labeling.

• • Associate Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing
• 
  Training and Experience
• • Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
  • Obtains and maintains ACLS within 6 months of employment
  • One year acute care experience required
•
