PRN (weekend coverage, days)

Outpatient hospital based clinic as well as acute care coverage. One on one patient care.

Scope of Responsibility

Physical Therapy Assistants assist the physical therapist in performing treatment to prevent disabilities and to restore and maintain the patient’s functional capacity to an optimal level.

Responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services

Education

• Must hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in the State of Texas

Training and Experience

• One or more years of clinical practice as a physical therapy assistant in both hospital and in-patient desired
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to work with multiple medical disciplines
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
