Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with a positive attitude.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages in accordance with established standards and safety guidelines.
- Handle food with care, adhering to food safety protocols to maintain quality and hygiene.
- Operate POS systems such as Spot On POS and other POS accurately for order processing and payments.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including plating, garnishing, and assembling menu items.
- Support banquet/catering events by setting up, serving, bussing tables, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas while following health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest requests.
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and restaurant offerings.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes promptly to ensure a tidy environment.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is essential.
- Experience with POS systems such as Spot On or others are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude.
