Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized service station, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain excellent guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Support the team during busy hours by assisting with food preparation, kitchen support, or host/hostess duties as needed in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Demonstrated ability in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience or kitchen support background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
- Excellent communication skills paired with basic math proficiency for accurate order taking and cash handling
