What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Visitor-Bilingual position at Community Action Council?
The Home Visitor is responsible for overall development and implementation of the program for the children assigned to the Home Visitor. The Home Visitor is responsible for assisting, encouraging, and supporting parents as they carry out their parenting and family responsibilities. The Home Visitor will visit assigned families for at least 90 minutes per week per assigned child, and will conduct two socialization activities per month. The Home Visitor is responsible for ensuring that all records are maintained accurately and up-to-date.
Qualifications:-
a. Home Visitor I: MA plus IECE certification
b. Home Visitor II: BA plus IECE certification
c. Home Visitor III: BA in a field related to ECE plus 10 college credits in ECE
d. Home Visitor IV: AA in ECE
e. Home Visitor V: CDA in home visiting within 1 year of hire.
- Experience in early childhood education, planning curriculum, and record keeping is required.
- Experience working with children with special needs is Highly desired.
- Experience with computers is highly desired.
