This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics while maintaining a clean, audit-ready workspace.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and configure high-voltage test setups according to test plans and IEEE/IEC standards.Perform AC/DC dielectric, impulse, and related tests on electrical components.Monitor test equipment, verify readings, and accurately document results in logs and reports.Ensure proper PPE use and strict adherence to all safety requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S standards.Complete, maintain, and organize test documentation for audits and traceability.Identify and report test anomalies or questionable results to the Supervisor.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures.Perform additional related duties as assigned.Required ExperienceAssociate degree from an accredited institution (preferred; flexible based on experience).Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a high-voltage environment.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.Detail-oriented; able to work independently.Strong communication skills.Proficiency with Word & Excel.Nice-to-Have ExperiencePrevious experience in high-voltage testing or electrical laboratory work.Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high-voltage equipment.Required SkillsElectrical principles & safety practicesSchematic and technical drawing interpretationHigh-voltage test setup and executionPreferred SkillsIEEE/IEC standards familiarityHigh-voltage equipment operationElectrical lab testingAdditional SkillsAC/DC dielectric and impulse testingDocumentation and report accuracyPPE compliance and safety adherence5S workplace maintenanceAnomaly detection and issue reportingMath and measurement skillsIndependent task managementBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientIntelligent power management company focused on sustainability and improving quality of life.
