This role is ideal for professionals with a strong grasp of project controls systems and a proactive mindset in managing performance data, forecasts, and planning logistics.Key Responsibilities:Lead project controls processes to support budget and schedule compliance.Configure and maintain project setup in Enterprise Planning & Controls software.Analyze performance data and run schedule/cost reports.Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).Develop and maintain effective scheduling, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction logistics and planning.Serve as the point of contact for technical questions within the project team.Approve purchase orders and subcontracts with proper coding.Track and document cost changes, forecasts, and contingency adjustments.Interface with accounting to validate cost reports and support audits.Review contract change orders (upstream and downstream).Prepare and present detailed cash flow reports and progress curves.Create and analyze schedules, including logic ties and resource loading.Support and participate in Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM).Perform project forensics and what-if scenario analyses.Maintain earned value management (EVM) systems.Conduct quality checks, inspections, and field audits.Assist with material takeoffs and schedule progress validations.Comply with all company policies and safety standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field — OR — applicable direct experience in lieu of degree3 years of direct experience in project controlsOSHA 10-hour safety certification (or ability to obtain)Nice-to-Have Experience:Prior experience in infrastructure or construction engineering environmentsProject forensic analysis participationContract review and audit preparationRequired Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communicationStrong interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with Oracle Primavera P6Earned Value Management (EVM) systemsEnterprise Planning & Controls software (EPC)Cost and resource forecastingSchedule logic and critical path analysisAdditional Skills:WBS development and reportingCoding approvals for purchase orders/subcontractsKnowledge of change order processTravel coordination and cross-regional supportBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Client:Infrastructure engineering firm designing and building essential infrastructure for cities.
