Job Summary

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift : 12hrs Night
Travel pay: $2600/week

Requirements:

• Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT or CRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• Critical care, level 1 and teaching hospital experience required –
• 12H shifts, every other weekend
• 2 call shifts and holiday commitment -
• Required Qualifications: 2 year of experience at minimum - must be available to work on-call as necessary.
• EPIC EMR -
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)

Duties

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as per physician orders.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
• Manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment effectively.
• Provide emergency care in critical situations, including airway management and basic life support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care settings.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pulmonology to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the care of patients in various units including PICU, ICU, OR, and trauma centers.

Pay: Up to $2,600.00 per week
