Job Summary
Title: Registered Nurse- MS/Tele
Location : Rome, NY
Shift : Night (3*12)
Pay Rate : $2400/wk
Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- MS/Stepdown nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and New York State (NYS) license required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Must have minimum 2 years of current experience.
- Travel experience preferred. Floating to MS is required.
- Every Other Weekend/Holiday is required.
- Must have strong IV skills, confident working with cardiac drips, reading EKG strips, and all types of wound care.
- NIH Stroke Cert required before start.
Job Responsibility:
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
- Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
- Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.
- Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.MEDITECH CHARTING
