Overview
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Location: Rome, NY
Shift: 4 x 10 hour Day
Duration: 13 weeks"
Pay: $2600 - $2700/wk
Requirements:
- Endo RN.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- 2 years experience required.
- Endo experience required.
- NIH Stroke Cert required before start.
- Additional 8 hours of CEUs will need to be complete as part of facility orientation.
- 9a-7:30pm FLEX DAYS (alternating 4 x 10’s to 5 x 8’s not to exceed 5 days)
- Mon-Fri. 40 hours guaranteed/week.
- 6 call shifts a month & 1-2 weekends a month.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by reviewing medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations, including scope handling and procedural support.
- Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels, and overall condition throughout procedures to ensure safety.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, including local anesthetics and sedation agents, following aseptic techniques.
