This role supports the design and execution of Source to Pay (S2P) solutions including requisitioning, PO management, contract lifecycle, and vendor integration. You will be instrumental in standardizing business processes, elevating data quality, and enabling breakthrough innovations across the supply chain.This position reports to the S2P Business Strategy, Senior Manager and follows a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days onsite in Oakland, CA.Key Responsibilities:Represent S2P as a subject matter expert within the SAP S/4HANA Propel ProgramLead cross-functional procurement design and change workshopsDefine and confirm Level 3/Level 4 future-state S2P processesValidate business requirements against regulatory frameworks and internal policiesIdentify process gaps, conduct root cause analyses, and propose innovative solutionsDevelop and present documentation for design validation and stakeholder alignmentGuide senior leadership through decision-making for enterprise procurement modernizationManage or advise on major S2P transformation initiativesRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience8 years of job-related experience in procurement or S2P systems/processesExtensive experience in SAP, Ariba, and Source to Pay operationsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, Project, VisioStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsNice-to-Have Experience:MBA or related graduate degreeLSS Black Belt certificationExperience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programsExperience managing cross-functional procurement initiativesPower user of analytical and project management toolsRequired Skills:Source to Pay (S2P) subject matter expertiseSAP Ariba and/or S/4HANA functional knowledgeCross-functional collaboration and project leadershipPreferred Skills:Change management and stakeholder engagementBusiness process design and documentationStrategic problem-solving and business case developmentAdditional Skills:Root cause analysis and process improvementEarned value and KPI metrics familiarityProcess mapping and enterprise tool optimizationStrong influence, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesAbout the Client:A leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
