Senior Power BI Analyst
Location: North Dallas, TX
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $125,000–$150,000 base salary annual bonus car allowance
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Power BI Analyst to join its Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role will design and support enterprise dashboards, reporting solutions, data models, and analytics used by Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Human Resources, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate has advanced Power BI development experience, strong SQL skills, and hands-on AWS Redshift experience. Matillion and cloud data pipeline experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reports.
- Build advanced data models, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and Row-Level Security.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries within AWS Redshift.
- Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on ETL/ELT, data warehouse, and data-quality initiatives.
- Improve report performance, automate manual reporting, and maintain reporting standards and documentation.
- Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting experience.
- 5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Advanced Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling skills.
- Strong SQL development and query optimization experience.
- Hands-on AWS Redshift experience.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Strong requirements-gathering, communication, and business-partnership skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and enterprise data environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Matillion ETL/ELT experience.
- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or SQL Server experience.
- Python, Power Automate, REST API, or stored procedure development.
- Experience supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Logistics.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
