About the Role:

As a Sales Consultant, you'll operate within a defined geographic territory, engaging clients and prospects of all sizes and revenue streams. Your mission will be to uncover leads, bring in new clients, and propose additional solutions to our existing clients. You will have the ability to sell additional HR services such as handbooks, consulting, audits, etc. to expand your earning potential. Success in this role hinges on your ability to establish trust, build strong relationships, and effectively address client needs and expectations.


What You'll Be Up To:

  • Prospecting: Source leads through various channels like networking, CRM data management, and referral relationships.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with decision-makers, key stakeholders, and C-level executives to craft customized solutions for their unique business needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Team up with our internal Sales Engineers to showcase our cloud-based technology.
  • Product Knowledge: Exhibit your expertise in our suite of HCM solutions, spanning payroll, taxes, HR consulting, workers' compensation, benefits and leave administration, and recruitment.
  • Territory Management: Cultivate your region by establishing rapport, nurturing relationships, and understanding potential client needs.
  • Sales Closing: Seal the deal by thoroughly grasping client requirements and recommending the perfect solutions.
  • Metrics Achievement: Meet or surpass achievable sales quotas set by your manager.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of all activities within your designated territory.
  • Client Relations: Regularly reach out to strengthen client connections and explore opportunities for upselling.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of SAAS sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the Capital District with a reliable vehicle.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or another CRM system).
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • HCM sales experience is a plus.

Salary : $80,000 - $140,000
