GTI Precision Components ) is a machined shop located in Powder Springs, GA. We make complex, precision, cosmetically critical parts for the aerospace, defense and medical industries.
Overview:
We operate two Multi Axis machining Cells: 5-axis/3-Axis milling and Twin Spindle B-Axis Mill/Turn machines.
- Materials Cut: Aluminum, Titanium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Monel
- Machine Brands: DMG Mori, Mikron, Makino
- Control Types: Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc
- Full Time: First Shift
Position Duties:
- Set Up CNC machines from provided documentation utilizing Proshop ERP software: cutting tool list, work holding, material type and size.
- Pull required hand gauges from gauge crib
- Load material into machine for production
- Deburring and washing finished parts
- Inspect parts in-process and post process for dimensional and cosmetic requirements
- Complete First Piece Inspection against "ballooned" part print
- Enter data into inspection software portal
- Work closely with inspection department personnel for manual and CMM inspection
- Load and machine production work order
Position Requirements:
- Ability to read ballooned prints and understand close dimensions and tolerances. GD&T
- Ability to view and measure CAD solid models
- Ability to take instruction well
- Has good verbal communication skills
- Has basic computer knowledge. Windows navigation, MS word, MS Excel
- Is detail oriented
- Is organized
- Keeps clean workspace
- Supports shop floor LEAN initiatives
- Works well in a collaborative team environment
- Takes extreme pride in their workmanship
- Is safety oriented
Conditions of employment:
- Must be US Citizen
- Minimum 5 Years of CNC Machining Experience
- Must pass a Pre-employment screening
