What are the responsibilities and job description for the Python Developer position at GTECH LLC?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer with 8 years of experience building scalable backend applications and cloud-based data solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • 8 years of backend development experience
  • Strong expertise in Python (OOP, asynchronous programming, multithreading)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
  • Dataflow / Apache Beam
  • Cloud Functions
  • Cloud DLP
  • Cloud Composer (Airflow)
  • Pub/Sub
  • Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
  • BigQuery
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
