The client is looking for a Lead Software Testing professional with strong hands-on EMV certification and payment device testing experience. The candidate will lead EMV certification activities for mobile checkout/payment devices, work with payment authorizers, execute and validate certification test cases using Collis tools, and troubleshoot payment device and testing issues with internal teams.

The role requires practical experience with retail POS systems, payment transaction testing, EMV certification, and payment devices, along with strong testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute EMV certification activities for multiple payment devices and payment authorizers.
• Execute, validate, and re-test certification test cases until successful certification.
• Work with internal teams on payment device setup and troubleshooting.
• Support test environments and resolve testing issues.
• Maintain detailed test logs, certification artifacts, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare test plans, test cases/scripts, and test execution reports.
• Track testing progress, coverage, defects, schedules, and metrics.
• Perform defect root-cause analysis (RCA) and identify preventive/mitigation measures.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and required test data/environments.
• Prepare test summary reports and support stakeholder sign-off.
• Participate in test reviews, walkthroughs, demos, and governance meetings.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and adherence to testing/engineering standards.
• Support test automation/performance testing where required.
• Coordinate testing activities and communicate status/issues to stakeholders.
