POSITION OBJECTIVE |
We are seeking a skilled Broiler Cook to join our team at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality meats, poultry, and seafood using broiler and grill cooking techniques. The Broiler Cook ensures all dishes meet quality standards and guest expectations while working closely with the kitchen team to deliver timely and efficient service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
- Prepare and cook meats, poultry and seafood using a variety of cooking methods, including broiling and grilling.
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection and consistently meet quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure all orders are prepared accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Properly handle, store and rotate food products according to established procedures.
- Assist with prep work and station setup as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding product quality or operational needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE |
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Broiler Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or hotel environment preferred.
REQUIREMENTS |

PHYSICAL DEMANDS |
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- This role requires the ability to safely navigate stairs as part of regular job duties.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands for food preparation and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment with exposure to open flames and cooking equipment.
