Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
Assist with food prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management during service
Ensure timely ticket execution during peak service hours
Assist with closing duties, including cleaning, labeling, and proper food storage
Report equipment issues, food quality concerns, or safety hazards to management
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
