Lead Landscape Construction Foreman

Are you an experienced commercial landscape construction professional who enjoys leading teams and building high-quality projects? We are looking for a Lead Landscape Construction Foreman to oversee multiple commercial landscape construction projects while providing leadership, coaching, and support to Foremen and field crews.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Landscape Construction Manager to coordinate daily operations, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and help develop the next generation of field leaders.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and support Landscape Construction Foremen and multiple construction crews.
• Plan and coordinate daily work assignments, staffing, equipment, and materials.
• Coach, train, and mentor Foremen and crew members to promote professional growth.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment built on accountability and respect.

Project Management

• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Monitor production, schedules, and budgets to keep projects on track.
• Identify and resolve field challenges while communicating progress to the Landscape Construction Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and customers as needed.
• Conduct final quality inspections before project completion.

Safety

• Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Lead daily safety meetings and conduct routine jobsite inspections.
• Ensure employees utilize proper PPE and safe work practices.
• Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.

Equipment & Administration

• Review daily production reports and crew timecards for accuracy.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and material deliveries.
• Maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment in clean, safe working condition.
• Assist with inventory management and project documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of commercial landscape.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.
• Experience with irrigation systems, hardscape installation, retaining walls, concrete, grading, drainage, and planting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
• Experience operating landscape construction equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of commercial landscape construction experience.
• Two (2) or more years of Foreman or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate landscape construction equipment, tools, and company vehicles.
• Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work on uneven terrain.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
