Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and identify potential delays proactively.
- Oversee all aspects of safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety audits to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts thoroughly to verify project scope, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, reviewing change orders, and ensuring accurate construction estimating using HeavyBid or comparable tools.
- Supervise on-site activities with a focus on quality control, ensuring work meets design specifications and industry standards through regular inspections.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and tracking project progress efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately; utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
- Coordinate with project managers on procurement strategies including pipeline management for materials and equipment logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, conduct training sessions as needed, and maintain comprehensive site safety records.
Skills
- Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with proven supervising capabilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools.
- Strong knowledge of contracts administration, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
