Our client is seeking a dynamic and versatile Director, Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise applications across our organization. You will be responsible for Salesforce platforms, web applications, and Microsoft-based technologies, ensuring scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that support business growth. You must be both strategic and hands-on, capable of driving long-term technology vision while also engaging at a technical level when needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, wears multiple hats, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions.
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in application development and technology leadership roles
- Proven experience managing teams supporting Salesforce, web applications, and Microsoft technology stacks
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce platform (architecture, integrations, customization)
- Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, .NET, or related technologies)
- Front-end frameworks such as React.js
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and enterprise architecture
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of application developers, engineers, and technical leads
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Manage resource allocation, performance, and career development of the team
Application Strategy & Delivery
- Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise applications, including Salesforce and web platforms
- Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable applications
Technical Oversight (Hands-On)
- Provide architectural guidance across Salesforce, Microsoft technologies, and modern web applications (React.js)
- Remain hands-on when needed—reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and guiding complex implementations
- Ensure best practices in system integration, data management, and application security
- Platform Ownership
- Own and optimize the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other relevant modules)
Oversee web application architecture and performance, including front-end frameworks like React.js
- Leverage Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, .NET, Power Platform) to support application development and integration
Operational Excellence
- Establish and monitor KPIs for application performance, reliability, and team productivity
- Drive Agile/DevOps practices and continuous delivery
- Ensure proper documentation, governance, and compliance standards are met
