Step into a day on the production floor
You clock in, review clear work instructions, and power up your Matic/Consew machine. A run of hanging signs and fabric graphics awaits. You align fabric with backing and aluminum stays, add Velcro or elastic where needed, and stitch precise hems and decorative seams. With your foot lever and hand controls, you sew beading to fabric, apply hardware and fasteners, and quality-check every piece on the fly. You trim threads, verify stitch placement with gauges, then sort, fold, and stack finished panels—ready for stores across the U.S.

The role
Operate industrial sewing machines in a high-volume production facility to complete hanging signs and graphics for retail displays using a variety of fabrics and materials.
What you’ll handle
- Assemble graphics and hems following established work instructions using Matic/Consew sewing machines
- Sew beading to fabric; apply hardware and fasteners; use decorative seams where required
- Operate with foot lever and hand controls; perform in-process QC as you sew
- Align fabric, backing, aluminum stays, elastic, and Velcro; follow seams, edges, and markings
- Stitch parts using various stitch types (e.g., vertical or straight)
- Trim excess threads and edges for a clean finish
- Use gauges to ensure precise stitch placement
- Sort, fold, and stack fabrics, borders, or panels
- Change needles and rethread machines as needed
What you’ll bring
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime when required
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Commitment to following all safety instructions and procedures
Shifts and scheduling
Immediate openings available on 1st and 2nd shift. A pay differential applies to 2nd shift.
