Duties
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machinery files, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming software.
- Ensure accurate fabrication of cabinet components.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards in production environments by following proper procedures for machine operation and handling industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on CNC equipment.
- Use hand tools and shop math skills for material handling, assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and setting up tooling for various fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications and standards for precision and craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machinery or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Knowledge of CNC programming.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory safety standards in production environments.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments for quality assurance.
- Experience with shop math, materials handling, tooling setup, assembly line processes, packaging procedures, and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Valid certification or experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately under tight deadlines.
