Qualifications needed for this position:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to successfully complete drug screen and background check.
- All applicants must hold a current CDL.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Operation of excavation and backfill equipment required.
- Ability to understand and follow Civil Engineering drawings and site electrical drawings.
- Be production oriented with an emphasis on quality
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
- Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to excavation activities.
- Ability to perform minor service and maintenance and refer major problems to the supervisor.
- Experience unloading and staging material using various types of equipment.
- Willingness to perform other construction duties as needed.
