Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the Medical Surgical and Emergency Room units during the night shift. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, hygiene assistance, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Assist with medical procedures, medication administration, and documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
• Support patients with complex needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral health challenges.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures like catheter care and phlebotomy to prevent infection.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care, ICU, Level I Trauma Center, or Level II Trauma Center environments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions accurately following HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
• Assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.

Experience

• Prior CNA experience in hospital settings, including medical-surgical units or emergency departments.
• Critical care experience or ICU background is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or infectious disease care.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, aseptic techniques, and medication administration protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care or outpatient clinics.
• Strong caregiving skills with experience in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities. Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Medical-surgical: 1 year (Preferred)
• Emergency room: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• CPSI (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
