Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department ($66–$78/hr)
Location: Utica, NY
Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available (Days, Evenings & Nights) – 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Now Hiring: Local & Travel RNs
Multiple shift options available:
- Days (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
- Evenings (10:30 AM–11:00 PM)
- Extended Night (2:30 PM–3:00 AM)
- Nights (6:30 PM–7:00 AM)
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience (3 years required for select shifts)
- Travel nursing experience required
- Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & TNCC Certifications
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Local candidates (within 75 miles) and travel candidates are welcome
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Assess, triage, monitor, and treat patients with critical conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
- Administer emergency medications, manage critical drips, and operate specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC.
- Float as required and assist with charge responsibilities when needed.
