Operating Room RN – OR Registered Nurse ($78/hr)
13-Week Travel Contract | Travel RN Only | 100-Mile Radius Rule
Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | 40 guaranteed hours/week
Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 36 guaranteed hours/week

Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS certification
- OR/Operating Room nursing experience
- Knowledge of OR/ASU procedures, clinical equipment, instrumentation, and aseptic technique
- Ability to provide safe, quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Strong assessment, prioritization, delegation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret lethal dysrhythmias
- ACLS preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room/ASU setting.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and aseptic surgical environment and properly utilize OR equipment and instrumentation.
- Assess patient needs and respond appropriately to clinical, safety, and emergency situations.
- Prioritize and delegate patient-care activities while collaborating effectively with the surgical and nursing team.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage, including a 30-minute response requirement.
