Role: Emergency Department/ Emergency Room RN
Location: Clinton, IL
Schedule: Night Shift | 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM | Every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and clinical conditions.
- Monitor patient status and promptly recognize changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Communicate patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to Emergency Department physicians and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
- Adjust nursing interventions and care plans as needed to ensure safe, effective treatment.
- Deliver care that addresses psychosocial, physical, emotional, and general patient needs.
- Provide education, support, and clear communication to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate professional accountability, initiative, and sound clinical decision-making in emergency situations.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient department operations.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Preferred:
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
- TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist) certification.
- Previous Emergency Department nursing experience.
Pay (Traveler):
- Weekly Amount = $2398
- Weekly Taxable Amount = $1152
- Weekly Non-Taxable Amount = $1246
- Overtime Rate = $82.61/hr
Pay (Local):
- Hourly Amount = $62
- Weekly Amount = $2232
- Overtime Rate = $93/hr
Pay: $2,232.00 - $2,398.00 per week
