Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Cloud Architect to support the design, configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of D365 F&O modules. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals and operational needs.
The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical expertise in D365 F&O, a deep understanding of finance and supply chain modules, and the ability to guide development teams while ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Design, configure, and customize D365 F&O modules to meet business needs.
- Partner with developers to provide guidance and support in resolving daily technical issues with quick turnaround times.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues, ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms.
- Continuously optimize and enhance D365 F&O functionality and system performance.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, architecture standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting, including regression testing during upgrades and releases.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users and internal teams.
- Document system configurations, customizations, and processes for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience across Finance and Supply Chain modules, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Credit & Collections
- Trade Agreements
- Cost Management
- General Ledger
- Inventory Management
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Sales & Marketing
- Master Planning
- Proficiency in X , Power Platform, Power Automate, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Experience with system integrations using APIs, OData, and middleware tools.
- Strong understanding of:
- Business Process Analysis
- SQL
- Batch Processing
- Data Management Framework (DMF)
- Extensions
- Data Lake integration
- Middleware architectures
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) projects or Liquor Control projects for other controlled states.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (please list on resume).
