Job Summary
The Data Analyst will work closely with business teams to translate Judiciary business needs into data warehouse and BI solutions. This role serves as a liaison between business partners and technical teams, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, solutions are designed effectively, and outcomes align with business objectives. The position requires extensive SQL experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business, data, and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between Judiciary business units and the data warehouse development team to ensure alignment on requirements.
- Document business data glossaries, definitions, and rules to support logical and physical data modeling.
- Analyze raw data across departments and convert it into meaningful information for Unified Enterprise Judiciary System users.
- Create documentation including business use cases, process flows, data flows, business rules, data definitions, and data mapping diagrams.
- Write SQL queries across DB2, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS Redshift; understand high-level programming concepts in Java, Python, Pega, etc.
- Conduct design sessions, demos, training sessions, and support development of user manuals or guides.
- Work with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations.
- Partner with QA teams and SMEs to validate test coverage and identify needed test scenarios.
- Recommend implementation options with associated risk and cost considerations.
- Assist with troubleshooting and handling production issues when required.
Requirements

- 5 years of overall experience, including 2 years in a business analyst function supporting data governance or data management (preferred).
- Knowledge of SharePoint and JIRA (preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word (preferred).
- 1 year of experience with data visualization tools (preferred).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical study (required).
