Information Manager
GSI is looking for an amazingly talented Information Manager to join our team supporting our Federal client in the Washington D.C. area! In this role you will provide onsite information management system development and support at the client office, facilitate the exchange of critical program data, ensure alignment of project information across stakeholders, and support decision making through structured data analysis and reporting.
What You'll Be Doing:
· Act as a Company representative with the client during the program execution.
- Assist client to determine specific information management system support requirements to execute expanding construction program including:
- Develop and maintain information systems that compile, integrate, manage, and disseminate critical information from numerous sources in support of program and project execution
- Develop and implement a user-friendly dashboard and reporting tools to track schedule, cost, and performance across the entire project portfolio.
- Manage and monitor program and project communication by preparing reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations that track project performance metrics, schedule adherence, and stakeholder engagement.
o Apply data analytics to analyze project data, identify trends or interdependencies, and provide clear, actionable information in support of leadership decisions.
- Identify critical external and internal decision and data input points and provide timely reminders/warnings to management.
- Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to collect project data, assess information needs, and ensure consistency and alignment of reported information across projects.
- Communicate timely with the Client/GSI management team regarding major initiatives or decisions.
- Coordinate and advise program leadership with planning, initiating, managing, execution and closeout via briefs, meetings, and discussions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- 10 years of experience developing information management systems, dashboards, reporting tools for large scale projects as well as directing and overseeing staff in support of $50M Federal client construction programs
- BS Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Project Management Engineering or Data and System Architecture, or related field; or demonstrated experience managing information systems for programs of comparable size and complexity in the $50M range.
· Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that track schedule, cost, and performance metrics.
· Ability to adapt to government-furnished information systems and reporting platforms.
- Experience in software development, including requirements gathering and product scoping, design, development, systematic testing, Quality Control release processes, and maintenance of software products throughout their lifecycle.
- Ability to generate clear, concise decision-support materials for client/leadership team.
- Strong analytics skills with the ability to collect and process raw data from multiple data sources, perform trend analysis, and generate dashboards and reports tracking project and program performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and risk indicators.
- Strong skills in the use and application of PC software versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams and Sharepoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Knowledge or ability to adapt to new software used by government (i.e. Kahua, eCMS, Tableau, eContracts, eProjects, Maximo, and ieFACMAN etc.).

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Broad knowledge and experience developing and maintaining information management systems for Federal facilities and related infrastructure projects.
- Certification as a PMP with the Project Management Institute (PMI) or CCM with the Construction Management Association of American (CMAA)
- Developed soft skills that allow one to work effectively with government professionals, client representatives, contractor management and labor personnel.
- Understanding of quality control processes as they relate to data management, data visualization, application versioning.
Security Clearance Requirement:
· This position at a minimum shall have a favorable fingerprint check and have the minimum tier 1 investigation initiated and completed to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
Location:

· Mix of on-site work and telework, with the expectation that the personnel will be in person the majority of the time, at least 75%.
Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
