Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC operator and spray technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines and applying coatings and finishes to various surfaces using spray equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment. The CNC operator/ Spray Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines and spray equipment to apply coatings and finishes on products with precision.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assist in the preparation and finishing processes.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following lean manufacturing principles.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Basic math skills are required for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
- Experience with welding, crane operation, or other related skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is advantageous.
