Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plastic Extrusion Operator at GSH Industries. Located in Strongsville, OH, this role involves operating and monitoring plastic extrusion machinery to ensure product quality and efficient workflow. Key responsibilities include setting up production lines, adjusting machinery settings, performing quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on the shop floor. The Plastic Extrusion Operator will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality plastic products that meet customer specifications.
Night shift roles are also looking to be filled.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and maintaining plastic extrusion machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality control processes and the ability to perform product inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills related to industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move materials as required, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar field is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
