GS Foods is seeking a Treasury Analyst to be responsible for aiding in analysis & support for the Treasury and FP&A functions and for ALL locations nationwide for the private equity-backed GS Foods Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“GS Foods” or the “Company”) located in Ontario, California. GS Foods is a leading specialty food distributor serving primarily K-12 schools in addition to other specialized end markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, consolidate, and distribute daily cash reporting to management.
- Perform line of credit analysis and provide recommendations
- Support lender and banking relationship management, including required reporting and ongoing coordination.
- Prepare budget-versus-actual cash reporting and variance analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Overseeing day-to-day cash/banking activities.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to improve weekly forecasting of cash receipts and disbursements.
- Assist with the integration, consolidation, and optimization of banking systems and processes.
- Administer and manage the corporate credit card program.
- Coordinate and support the escheatment process.
- Ability to identify trends and discern root cause from large sets of data using creative solutions
- General administration duties include emails, compiling various slides for presentations, etc.
- Assist with special projects as requested and prepare ad hoc analysis as necessary
- Ability to work effectively independently and work under deadlines
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Essential for Success:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily excel.

- Accounting, Foodservice and or Microsoft NAV experience a plus.

GS Foods has nineteen distribution facilities nationwide. No travel will be expected in the role.
Work Environment:
Professional office and warehousing/distribution environment. Performance of this position will occasionally require exposure to the warehouse areas where, under certain areas, the use of personal protection equipment will be required. Floors may be wet and slippery when in frozen or refrigerated areas. Primary office environment is ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Intermittent travel and full-time office presence are required.
