The Director of Treasury is responsible for leading all treasury & cash management functions, as well as direct oversight of AP and AR for ALL locations (approximately 15 to 16 locations nationwide) for the private equity-backed GS Foods Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“GS Foods” or the “Company”) located in Ontario, California. The FP&A Director will provide integral support to the CFO, Sales leaders, Operations leaders, and CEO of GS Foods.
GS Foods is seeking a finance professional to build and lead the analysis function with high-level of exposure across the Company. GS Foods is a leading specialty food distributor serving primarily K-12 schools in addition to other specialized end markets.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Treasury
Oversees Daily Cash reporting, consolidation, & distribution to management.Line of Credit analysis & recommendations.Lender & Banking oversight and reporting. Manage monthly budget vs actuals cash reporting and variance analytics for Senior Leadership Team.Overseeing day-to-day cash/banking activities.Preparation & oversight of the 13wk cash forecast modelConsolidate, then distribute daily cash reports from locations and assist team with cash forecasting.Work with AR & AP teams on appropriate forecasting of receivables and disbursements weekly.Extensive collaboration with internal departments to improve and automate current financial systems and reportingas it relates to treasury functions.Assistwith the integration& consolidationof banking systems.Assistwith budgets and forecasts that will help streamline analysis and reporting.Manage and maintain the Capital Expenditures & Capital Lease tracking across all locations of the corporation.Work with the Audit & Tax team on licensing & tax reporting as needed.Corporate credit card program management.Quarterly Covenants with lender/banking.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Work directly with the EVP of Finance and Accounting to ensure efficient and effective customer credit evaluation, payment terms, billing, collections and cash posting processes are implemented across all locationsMonitor customer aging balances and provide direction on collection efforts for key aged balancesDevelop and document standard operating process for the AR cycleDevelop and enforce credit policies and procedures.Develop, track and drive improvement in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics across all locations Optimizereceivablesmanagement to improve cash flow and minimizebad debt.Conduct quarterly review of accounts,identifyingbad debtand providing management with collection efforts/statusIdentifyand implement process improvements to enhance CRM functionality and usabilityAnalyze customer data to generate insights that drive business decisionsDevelop andmaintainreports and dashboards to track key CRM metricsWork closely with sales and customer service teams to manage credit-related issuesResolve disputes and discrepancies related to credit accounts and paymentsWork closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align CRM processes with businessobjectives.

Other Shared Services Activities
Work directly with the EVP of Finance and Functional leaders to identify areas to would be best served for the Company to consolidate into the Shared Service FunctionDevelop KPIs and performance expectations for any area that is brought into the Shared Service Function Identifyand implement automation and process enhancements for efficiencyCollaborate with IT and finance teams to integratenew technologiesand systems.Partner with internal departments such as Procurement, Sales, and Treasury tooptimizeend-to-end financial processes.
