Vice President of Operations - Commercial Electrical Construction - North Carolina
Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify a Vice President of Operations reporting directly to the CEO. This executive will oversee multiple operating devisions across the region, driving operational performance, financial results, continued business growth, and leadership development. This is a high-impact role for a proven multi-site operations leader with strong P&L ownership and a track record of building high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple operating companies with full P&L responsibility
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance across business units
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization and continuous improvement
- Partner with market leaders to support growth, profitability, and customer success
- Foster a strong safety-first culture and ensure corporate compliance
- Develop and mentor senior leaders while strengthening organizational culture
- Support strategic growth initiatives, including geographic expansion and acquisitions
- Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and partner closely with the CEO
Qualifications:
- 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience
- Proven success leading multi-site or multi-branch service organizations
- Strong P&L ownership with experience managing large budgets and revenue growth
- Experience leading senior leaders, General Managers, or Regional Vice Presidents
- Background in facilities services, electrical, mechanical, construction, industrial, or related service industries preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, business growth, and leadership development
