Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Provides services behind the counter: baggage handling, transfer of baggage and oversized transfers, and assistance in the processing and transport of passenger luggage.
- Guarantees the service to the client's airlines/airports in accordance with the contracts and within the agreed budget level.
- Complies with customer service skills as provided via training.
- Fully trained and familiar with the procedures behind counter management, aviation safety, security procedures, and safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of aviation experience
- Must be able to lift 70lbs or more
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Be able to maintain customer service professionalism while under pressure and stressful environment
- Must be able to read airline boarding pass
- Always be professional in appearance and manners to passengers and any other person at the airport Training will be provided.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements and those to obtain an Airport ID with a seal
- Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, night shift
- The ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check.
